Day 1-5: Safari Adventures in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Welcome to the thrilling world of Maasai Mara safari adventures! Get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey into the heart of the wild, where you'll have the opportunity to witness extraordinary wildlife encounters and experience exhilarating game drives.

The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is renowned for its abundant wildlife, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts and animal lovers alike. As you venture into this vast wilderness, be prepared to encounter the magnificent Big Five animals - lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. But not only: the Maasai Mara has a great variety of animals such as giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, birds of all kinds, and much more. These majestic creatures roam freely in their natural habitat, offering a truly awe-inspiring sight that will leave you breathless.

In the Maasai Mara you'll stay in a private conservancy, the Olare Motorogi conservancy. In this conservancy there is Mahali Mzuri, Travel and Leisure's Best Hotel in the World 2021, in which you'll experience the safari of a lifetime. The 12 tents camp will offer you a private guide and spotter, dinners in the bush, a private butler, a Michelin starred chef, and incredible views of the wildlife and landscape from your own luxury tent.

Staying in a private conservancy during a safari offers a more exclusive and personalized wildlife experience compared to visiting a national park. Private conservancies typically have fewer visitors, ensuring a more intimate and tranquil encounter with nature. This exclusivity often translates to better wildlife viewing opportunities, as animals in these areas are generally less disturbed by human presence. Additionally, private conservancies often engage in sustainable tourism practices and work closely with local communities, ensuring that your visit contributes to conservation efforts and community development.

Capture stunning photographs as you witness lions prowling through the tall grasses or elephants gracefully bathing in watering holes. Immerse yourself in nature's symphony as birds chirp melodiously overhead while zebras and giraffes graze peacefully nearby.

Every moment spent in Maasai Mara is filled with excitement and wonder. Whether it's witnessing a dramatic predator-prey chase or observing rare bird species in flight, each experience will create lasting memories that will stay with you forever.

Alternative hotels in the Mara (if Mahali Mzuri is fully booked): Kitchwa Tembo, The Governors Camp, Olarro Plains

Day 5-7: Mountain Views in the Amboseli National Park (Optional)

If you'd like to change landscape from the Maasai Mara, you can decide to spend 2 days and not more!) in Amboseli, to enjoy mountain views. It is going to be underwhelming (and a little disappointing) compared to your experience of the Mara, as in Amboseli the only way to safari is in the National Park and not in a private conservancy.

Amboseli National Park is famous for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of African elephants. The park offers a unique and unforgettable safari experience with its diverse ecosystems, ranging from savannahs and woodlands to wetlands.

Day 8-11: Relaxation and Fun at the Stunning Kenyan Beaches

From pristine shores to luxurious beach resorts, Kenya offers a paradise for beach lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Imagine sinking your toes into the soft, golden sands of Diani Beach or feeling the warm sun on your face as you lounge by the crystal-clear waters of Watamu. With a wide array of beach resorts in Kenya, you can indulge in ultimate comfort and tranquility while surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

But it doesn't stop there – Kenyan beaches offer an abundance of exciting activities for every water enthusiast. Dive into the vibrant underwater world through snorkeling or scuba diving adventures. Feel the rush as you try your hand at thrilling water sports like jet skiing, windsurfing, or kiteboarding. Whether you're an adrenaline junkie or simply seeking a leisurely stroll along the shore, there's something for everyone.

Day 12-15: Exploring The Vibrant Capital - Nairobi

Then get ready to embark on an exciting city tour that will take you through the heart of this bustling metropolis.

One of the must-visit attractions in Nairobi is the Nairobi National Park. It's not every day that you can go on a safari adventure right on the outskirts of a major city! Explore the park and spot majestic wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. It's a truly unique experience that showcases Kenya's rich biodiversity. Other interesting experiences in Nairobi are the Giraffe Center - in which you will be able to feed giraffes, not worth it if you are already staying at the Giraffe Manor, see below - and the Sheldrick Foundation - you should book in advance your 1h visit in the foundation which is an orphanage for baby elephants that are rescued because found without parents and taken care until they are ready to be re-intergrated in the wild.
